THE MANSION LOUNGE
Guests of Silverado Resort find our Mansion Lounge to be the perfect cap for a long day. Gather around the inviting stone fireplace on cooler nights with friends and cocktails, and discuss your planned route for tomorrow’s wine tastings. When the stars are out, move out to the Patio Terrace, a charming glass-walled portico that affords stunning views of the beautifully designed South Course.
BOOST CAFÉ
Greet the day after your workout at the Boost Café where you will find a menu to replenish your energy and re-hydrate your body. Delicious and healthy fare such as salads, sandwiches, fruit juices and smoothies for on the go experience or slowdown enjoy an item from our lunch menu. Sip and savor an espresso or cappuccino from our coffee menu in our tranquil WIFI hotspot.
Golf :
Located in the heart of the Wine Country, the two championship golf courses are only available to members or resort guests. Redesigned by PGA Hall of Famer Johnny Miller, both courses feature dozens of water crossings, elevation changes and routing through historic oak trees.
PRACTICE FACILITIES
The practice facility offers a full length turf driving range with target greens at various distances. There is also a large practice putting green located near the cart staging area of the clubhouse offering over a dozen practice holes to prepare you for our beautiful and challenging greens on each of our courses.
We have an additional large practice chipping green near the driving range tee offering a wide variety of shots to sharpen your chipping & pitching skills. All practice facility amenities are located within close proximity of the clubhouse and conveniently located near the cart staging area of the clubhouse.
We also offer a private practice area at the back side of our driving range for private lessons and clinics with our professional golf instructors. A large turf teeing area is available to work on full swing shots. At Silverado, you can still practice while on your trip.
JOHNNY MILLER GOLF ACADEMY
Welcome to The Johnny Miller Golf Academy (JMGA). There’s no better place to improve your golf game than in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley. If the view from our lesson tee of Napa Valley is not enough to take your breath away, perhaps how much your swing will improve from taking a two-day clinic will! Johnny Miller, co-owner of Silverado Resort and Spa, is known for being one of the greatest ball strikers to ever play the game of golf. Specifically he is known for his ability to hit his irons close and shoot very low scores. At the JMGA leaners are taught Johnny’s approach to not just be golfers but to become PLAYERS. The creativity, thinking, and techniques that Johnny used to become one of the best players in the world is shared with every student of JMGA.
Johnny Miller Academy is a unique academy as it is “play based”. Much of the learning and shot making skills are tested on the golf course. We strongly believe that golf schools can be a firehose of information and you are left figuring out how to turn the information into playable scores on the course. Throughout the JM Academy, new skills and shot making are practiced and tested on the golf course. It is important to us that improvement and results are not only seen on the driving range, but on the golf course as well. This is the key to overall game improvement.
