The Lodge at Craigielaw is a fantastic base to enjoy the wonderful facilities at Craigielaw Golf Club as well as exploring the golfing county of East Lothian and all the attractions of Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh. Attached to the clubhouse, the lodge boasts 25 well appointed rooms which can be set up on a double or twin format. 13 rooms enjoy views across the course to the River Forth, Gullane Golf Courses and the kingdom of Fife, whilst 12 rooms enjoy the quiet and secluded view across a decorative courtyard.
With an 18 hole championship links course, fantastic practice facilities, bar and restaurant with stunning views of the course you may never need to venture from Craigielaw, but if you do want to the Lodge is within easy access to many great golf courses such as Muirfield, Gullane and North Berwick. The county also has many great attractions and wonderful beaches and woodlands to explore. Edinburgh is a mere 20 minutes drive or train journey and for those looking for all the buzz and excitement of the city but the relaxed pace of the country, the Lodge at Craigielaw is ideal.

With the exception of the view each room is identical with all the modern conveniences you require to enjoy your stay including wifi throughout the lodge and clubhouse. The club also offers a 24 hour reception and golf bag storage for your convenience.

With Scotland’s Capital City, Edinburgh only a 30 minute drive, train or bus journey away you have all the buzz of the city with the quiet of the country.
East Lothian has rightly been called Scotland’s Golf Coast and is one of the best regions for golf in Scotland, with 22 courses offering choice to golfers of all standards and tastes. Craigielaw, Whitekirk, The Glen, Dunbar, North Berwick, Kilspindie, Longniddry, Haddington, Gullane and The Open Championship course at Muirfield are some course names you may recognise.
The region offers traditional links and classic inland golf courses, many steeped in history and complimented by modern, challenging, courses. All coupled with friendly clubhouses and affordable green fees. The coastal A198 route, provides easy access for visitors and short journeys between courses. With its own micro climate East Lothian’s courses are open all year long with most playing the full course in the winter with little or no restrictions to play.
